About Sam Martin

Being unmarried, I spend the vast majority of my time working on projects that are important to me, as I have done in the preceeding months communicating my thoughts about incorporation.  With the exception of a few weekend trips and a week-long ski trip each winter, I will be available to tend to the business of this community throughout the year.

As can be seen from my list of community service activities, I have been actively engaged since moving to Horseshoe Bay in 1997, spending an enormous amount of my available time, working to manage the growth that is clearly headed this way from Austin and San Antonio.  While my background is not filled with acedemic accolades, my experience in building over 20 companies, my experience as a land developer in Texas and my activities in community service have prepared me well for the job of Mayor.
