pass for the Baylor game at Kyle Field in October 1994. I had met George in his Arbusto Energy office in Midland in
1981. When I encountered him in the hallway of the suite level at the game, we
talked for a half hour. This was 1 month before his election as Governor of Texas. |
In 1974 I worked with Jim Fawcett
(Farah's Father) in his janitorial business in Houston. Jim & Pauline lived down the
street from my parents house in Champions.
In 1978, while I was building Raveneaux Country Club, Farah showed up at the site with Dan
Pastorini and I took her on a tour of the clubhouse.

In 1985 I produced a weekend festival for the launch of City Magazine in Houston.
We had lots of celebrities for the event including TV Stars from "Dallas"
and "V", ZZ-Top, Country Joe McDonald, Bill Thurman, AJ Foyt . . . and many
more.

I was working with Rick on the Eradicator fire ant eradication system at that time.

the 4th of July boat parade at Horseshoe Bay in 2003. Jim has a home here and agreed
to be Grand Marshall and I was Admiral of this parade.
