1981. When I encountered him in the hallway of the suite level at the game, we
talked for a half hour. This was 1 month before his election as Governor of Texas. |

the 4th of July boat parade at Horseshoe Bay in 2003. Jim has a home here and agreed
to be Grand Marshall and I was Admiral of this parade.

Parasailing with my friend Paul Buckland (I'm on the left).
My good friends Richard and Anita Welsh in Austin operated a parasail boat on Lake Travis
and Lake LBJ and would always come fly me and my friends when they were on LBJ. The
provided the boat for the parade when I had Jim Lovell as the Grand Marshall.
