One of my first commercial accounts was with Pete Beathard who was developing commercial real estate at that time. Pete gave me the opportunity to assist his superintendant, Gary Bishop, with the construction of several office and retail projects, enabling me to learn every phase of commercial construction and subcontracting whatever woodwork was involved. Pete also shared his wealth of knowledge in real estate development and encouraged me at every step.

With this grounding in commercial construction I expanded my contracting services to encompass all aspects of interior finish including sheetrock, painting, tile, carpet, wall paper, ceilings along with woodworking. This helped me rise to the level of a Commercial General Contractor.
